September 25: One year later for Da Blog.

Another season means one year at Da Blog, Today is my Blogaversary.  

It's been one year since I started Da Blog. 


It all started because I felt like I needed more then a friends DM to rant or be happy about bears games. That evolved in to Hawks/ Bulls Coverage, trying to make jokes and poking fun at things happening in Chicago. 

My one year anniversary kind of all most snuck up on me. A couple weeks ago I wanted to see my monthly blogs published. 

Looking at this made me realize its been a year. I clicked on September to read my First blog week 2 recap of when the Bears narrowly beat the Broncos. And I feel like I have come a long way from that one blog. From layout, writing style, everything.

It all started with Ranting about that Bears and Packers game and felling like I was being annoying by sending huge text paragraphs to a friend, and not getting as much response, grant it he was in much shock and awe and confusion as I was from that game.  So Bears Coverage lead to Chicago Coverage. Trash talking, to seeing/reading something and just saying my opinion, power ranking and just saying what ever I wanted. 


And I don't want to make it sound all magical and stuff. Honestly I can not believe that it had been a year. It's been a long and slow 365 days in my opinion. There are not alot of people with me Just SuperFan Max the writer ,and a few readers when I sent them the link directly, and My one Russian readerLove you my друг. 


At times I have no idea why I am blogging. At first it was to have a portfolio just in case barstool hired me, other times its just to talk like its a journal, other times, just to waste time, to rant. I'll be honest Im not going to be all ra ra and hyped one year down many more to go.  Blogging gets harder over time. You don't want to have just read and opinion blogs. You want your original thoughts  It's hard to come up with thoughts hence writers block. Plus when the you see the 0 page view you wonder why do I keep writing? 
 
This is not to say after one year I am shutting down this is not even good bye. Just a milestone that should not go un noticed but one that should remind me/ us that. It's a long ride to the top and lets keep going on the ride and see where the road goes. It's always good to see where you came from or how you got to where you are today.

The work chronicles : PT5.5 still working with mind boggling people

Said it once said it a billion times. I’ve been here here to long and I’ve got to get out of here. Everyone has this in common a shitty  part time or shitty job and not making enough money.  Now I won’t really be making enough or more money. I went back to  school in January so making money but not really a lot since I’m working a lot of hours like I was in passed months. So only work my minimum of hours of 24. I planned on going back to 32-40 Hours a week to get my money not my funny up. But sales are down and store is dead. Times where it looks like where about to close or open how little or no body in there. It’s sad so if anybody needs my meat come to my meat department. But here’s where the mind boggling people come in I had 32 hours this week and the store manager like a coward decided to cut the hours and give us the schedule the day he’s off.
