Bears sign purchase agreement for Arlington Park property and kill a little more of me in the process
Well they're doing it The Bears are leaving the city, I just know it. No stopping them now, I'm not even angry just sad like very sad.
Just got out of the shower from a long day of classes and work only for my heart to sink into my stomach. Said not even worth staying up tonight, to blog this just went to bed. Yous guys might think I'm joking but this annocument and saying I'm sad but this is all 100% percent honest just sad. This annocumnet is also just a cover up to change the story line from Sunday game. Even after sleeping on it just woke up with a heavy heart. I know The Bears can't leave till 2032-33 but just knowing that it all ends in 12 years. Its 12 years till they're gone not sooner cuz the NFL hates when teams break a lease plus the Bears don't have the Balls to leave in the dead of night like the Colts or attitude like the Raiders.
12 years till a stupid dome stadium, turf field, and not being in Chicago the 3 things I hate about football when its not about the Bears. In all honesty I don't see one way, that I'm happy with this potential move. Maybe Turf since we played on it in the 80s, if you want to call that turf. But besides that nothing really. The Bears going to a dome is saying the only team tuff enough to face the weather in the NFC north are the packers. So in other words we take another lost to the packers, like we don't already have enough of those we need more of them.
This is just going to be another person from the Suburbs claiming they are from Chicago when they are not. In the event the Bears do win the Super Bowl where we do go Arlington Heights or Chicago for the Parade? While on the topic of the Superbowl. Yeah sure cool get to say its in IL but not like the Bears or you personally are going to go so whats the benefit of saying that? Saying things are going to come to "Chicago" and help the economy is one of the dumbest takes ever. Reason being its NOT Chicago no matter what you say or convincing me it will never be the city. Sure when people come in for the Super Bowl, Concerts, Final Four what ever they may stop in Chicago since it's right there but they are going to Build the Area around the Stadium up so you don't have to leave, like Patriot Place or Wrigley Field. So great we don't see any of that money, good take buddy.
For Christ's sake the logo on the side of the Helmet is what you play for and that logo is a C, as C for Chicago. So new uniforms now since everyone says the Bears uniforms are "boring". We see what everyone is going for in the new uniform rebrand simplistic even do how more simple can you go with a Bears uniform, and cash. Of course the Bears are going to go for a new uniform cash grab have to start paying off that stadium loan, the uniforms is to get us revamped and hyped for the new Corporate sellout stadium name that has nothing to do with the Midwest or IL.
Plus you've see the teams that play in Chicago right? Those teams don't deserve nice things, you need a great team to match a great building. The United Center and US Cellar Field where built in the start of the get creative area os stadiums and thats what we got, I don't hate our stadiums but having a high tech stadium to just loose in doesn't seem right. Once the Bears leave we might as well say goodbye to Soldier Field whats the point of that, yeah sure concerts and other sporting events but who really wants to see those games. Like the Hawks & Bulls leaving the UC only to be told but the Wolves and Sky will be there do, just a slap in the face. Bears leaving is very sad. Sure alot of teams don't play in the city they say they are from but guess what? Those aren't are teams so I could care less about what they do, Da Bears are our team and shouldn't be leaving.
