Harry Potter Bulls
Who ever this Wenzer guy is he makes a great point. I get it they where kinda busy defending the wizarding world from Voldemort and the dark arts trying to take over Hogwarts and control all muggles. But c'mon its not like those battles where an everyday thing. Someone in between fighting for their life and charm class had to be watching the Telly. Even more points to be made. You are going to tell me one of those quidditch jocks didn't have any other intrest in "muggle sports" Basketball and quidditch are almost the same thing bot got people flying high in the air, hoops and a ball.
The comments from the tweet are saying how ignorant of Americans to assume they are the center of the world and everything in pop culture surrounds them. This is a story about British kids not American. Understandable but when you got the Bulls going to France in 97, being one of the most talked about topics in the 90's. It had to come up in the paper in international news. Really think about it if this is set in 91-98 besides Jordan taking over the league some very distinct things happened in the NBA around that time. '89 the Orland Magic make their debut. and in 95 the Washington Bullets change their name to the Wizards. Those team names had to get those British kids going. You don't think one of them had a Shaq Magic jersey under their cloak? For best or worse wizards and witches had to be interested in the NBA and should of mentioned the Bulls once. For the best wizards and witches haven't had a good rep since the Salem With trials so some form representation of wizards and magic had to make them feel good. Even if they did not like it don't they think they'll be going after the league for poor misrepresentation and culture apportion? The book is already a millions pages long it wouldn't have hurt to have a mention of the Bulls in there.
