Brookfield Zoo reopens today [ Bonus: Video]

 Brookfield zoo has been on a little hiatus cuz of covid like everything else. Back in March they closed for 4 Months till July. And This year alone best to my knowledge they have been closed for February can't remember about January. So that's pretty cool that they are reopening to the public again. I haven't been at the zoo in a while ever since I "retired" from volunteering their [ not fired aged out]. I should go back see if anything has changed. 

It's crazy to think the zoo for the past 2 years has almost been closed to the public for almost 6 ish months.Yous may not know this but it takes alot for the Zoo to shut down. Since it opened in 1934 it has only been closed on these days listed. 

 September 14, 2008, cuz of flooding.

 Feb. 2, 2011, blizzard, 

April 18-19, 2013, rain storm and flooding.

 Jan. 30-31, 2019, polar vortex. 

The Zoo an absolute unit when it comes to showing up every day. It only take till the 21st centry for it to say "Know what I am going to take a few days here and there. " 

To commemorate the zoo reopening after a couple months here is a video I did back in a speech class a few semesters ago.

The work chronicles : PT5.5 still working with mind boggling people

Said it once said it a billion times. I’ve been here here to long and I’ve got to get out of here. Everyone has this in common a shitty  part time or shitty job and not making enough money.  Now I won’t really be making enough or more money. I went back to  school in January so making money but not really a lot since I’m working a lot of hours like I was in passed months. So only work my minimum of hours of 24. I planned on going back to 32-40 Hours a week to get my money not my funny up. But sales are down and store is dead. Times where it looks like where about to close or open how little or no body in there. It’s sad so if anybody needs my meat come to my meat department. But here’s where the mind boggling people come in I had 32 hours this week and the store manager like a coward decided to cut the hours and give us the schedule the day he’s off.
