Dallas Mavericks

Some more National Anthem talk and stands. 

So Mark Cuban, Mavericks owner, is getting crucified. Apparently he said that they won't play the National Anthem any more this season when having home game Maverick games.

 Apparently they have been doing this all year.  But apparently The Athletic found out and decided to cause a problem unintentionally. By pretty much just saying what's happening . They have been going no Anthem since November due to the league saying: "Under the unique circumstances of this season, teams are permitted to run their pregame operations as they see fit," 

So Mark Cuban found a "loop hole"of sorts grant it it's right there saying do what you think is right. And he decided that it's not needed. Anthem is a problem or causes an issue, he found a way to get rid of the problem but people don't like it, can't please everyone. I guess. 

I know the NBA has that rule from 1980 saying everyone has to stand for the Anthem. Then been pretty loose with it in the Bubble letting players kneel, and even saying this year they won't fully enforce it this year. So getting upset  for nothing. 

I don't get why people are getting mad at Mark Cuban for this move. Mark Cuban the same guy who openly heckles refs, gets fines like there free t shirts, once said he was going to commit the sin of tanking. Who would of thought the guy who owns the Mavericks would do this. A maverick is not just a horse. It's  "an independent individual who does not go along with a group or party" Dude is being a living breathing inbodyment of his mascot. Who would of though the owner of the Mavericks was a Maverick. 

and I think the craziest thing I am getting from all this Mark Cuban stuff is I found out today that this man is 62 years old. No way he's 62 but he is just look at him. 

and you know it's a recent picture since he got a mask on and not some pic from 2017 where he is young . I won't believe this man is 62 

A blog is read something, summarize, and react and I guess this is the part where I react. 

And I don't know. I don't know. [ just stalling since I don't know. ] I don't know

This is a heavy topic but once again no one reads these so I can say what ever. 

Once again making mountains out of ant hills. Do they really need to play the anthem this year? No ones at the stadium and 90% of the time you don't even see it on TV so why even complain about this. They where doing this since November and no body said anything and it wasn't a problem? 

People in this country man seem like they don't love being here, but you got the other people that hate other people for being here. I don't know.  You show some patriotism your a Republican Freak. You think a little different you're a Democratic snow flake. So no matter what you don't win. Honestly I could care less about the Anthem before the game. As an average athlete I probably got the National Anthem played for us ,to create that big game atmosphere, maybe 10 times MAX. Did it pump me up like it was intended to back at the 1918 World Series and to rouse patriotism during wartime during WWII. Yes it did.

 But that wasn't at every game so I guess it's not need. It's not  what started the game, so it's not like you need the Anthem to start the game you just have to start it I guess. 

I like the National Anthem since you know I'm all sports so it's always been there, I love this Country happy to be here, and know what simply just a great thing I got going. Probably can't live the life I am living now in many other countries. Not just happy but grateful to be here. 

But you know my America and thoughts on the Anthem represents something that is different from some one else. Maybe it reminds them that country doesn't always love them. Or other people didn't have a problem with it back in the day. But finally woke up and have a problem with it now. Who knows at this point simply boils down to Mark Cuban can either Submit to the mob of people who are asking for it to no longer be there and getting rid of it. Or Submit to the other mob and play it and get hatted on for doing so, It's Mark Cuban he'll do what he wants, and not care what others think in the process. 

I wish I had the stones of that 62 year old man. Still can't believe this is what 62 looks like.
