High School try out today. Bulls Prospect tomorrow

 AAAAA High school basketball try outs. actually all high school try outs are where dreams go to die.Everyone thinks they are a basketball star in grammar school but something about high school really separates the good from the god awful. You go to your high school basketball try out and your not already on the team or been requited I hate to say it. Chances are your not on the team. You know what I am talking about, unfortunately these kids probably did not get the memo

These kids play way to much 2k and or only play hoop by them self where this stuff is possible no look jump passes, it takes the pros time to do that build that connection and these kids are doing it 20 mins into work outs. 

I remember St. Rita's Basketball try outs like 70 kids it was a huge turn out. I did not try out I retired from basketball at the end of the 2013-2014 season where I was an MVP and an 0-7 season. I knew when to hang it up. So where was I during try outs? At the time I was first learning how to lift weights/ trying to get into shape[ which I still am not since I'm a fat lazy blogger] for my baseball try out in the spring. So I was in the weight room pumping that iron. And the Weight room over looked the gym. So I got a front row seat watching people try and chase their hoop dreams. 

 Something about the game man. Basketball is the only sport where 70 + kids try out and only 20-25 get taken if that. Maybe because it's one of those sports where there are so many teams the competition is spread out/ small teams so it inflates your ego and makes you think you are star even if you are not.


I've tried out for two sports in High school Baseball which sucked when I did not make. I'll never forget the words the Coach told me when I asked him why I did not make the team. "You're good but we just cant take you we already are taking to many kids I'm sorry. " Made me not love the game any more I didn't watch, go to or wear any sox gear for like a year out of upset ness. 

then I became your typical Lacrosse player aka can't make baseball so does the next spring sport available that is non cut aka Lacrosse. 

Then I tried out for Lacrosse my senior year, new IHSA rules made it where you could only have 35 active roster players for the season then 35 for playoffs including coaches. [ IE if you have 3 coaches only 32 players could dress, which I did dress for in the IHSA Lacrosse Sectional Finals no Biggie]

 we lost to Fenwick 10 -8. Fuck the Friars


Then I went on to be one of the top 4 lacrosse players in club history at my college and still play to this very day.  

I hope that that 2-3 mins of try out video was not all the kids trying out cuz man that's gonna be a long season then for that school And To all the kids that got cut or didn't make the team yous be fine. It's hard you lose the love of the game right then and there but you can A) either find something else to start doing. B )work hard to try and chase your dream or C ) just move on from the game a day comes where we will have to leave some sooner then others. Hopefully that's not that last day on the hard wood.

But now its my honor and privilege to be part of the peers that make up the jury. The work chronicles : PT5.5 still working with mind boggling people

Said it once said it a billion times. I’ve been here here to long and I’ve got to get out of here. Everyone has this in common a shitty  part time or shitty job and not making enough money.  Now I won’t really be making enough or more money. I went back to  school in January so making money but not really a lot since I’m working a lot of hours like I was in passed months. So only work my minimum of hours of 24. I planned on going back to 32-40 Hours a week to get my money not my funny up. But sales are down and store is dead. Times where it looks like where about to close or open how little or no body in there. It’s sad so if anybody needs my meat come to my meat department. But here’s where the mind boggling people come in I had 32 hours this week and the store manager like a coward decided to cut the hours and give us the schedule the day he’s off.  Let’s get one thing perfectly straight. This is for the boys. The moose knuckle is for the boys. a sexually pleasing way but in the way that moose knuckles are showing off the bulge of a guys dick. We got moose knuckle yous lady’s got camel toe  I mean I get it. If you got it flaunt it. But learn the right stuff and I get it camel toe Thursday doesn’t sound as good as moose knuckle Monday.
