Sox up 2 in the Crosstown classic
I know I know. I’m a Chicago sports based blog and I should be all over the most important sporting event that is not a championship. The Crosstown classic, I should be hammering White Sox takes like nobody’s business but quite frankly. I don’t want to jinx it. The Sox are now 17-11 3rd place in the division not a 1 or 2 automatic in the playoff but I think the 2nd wild card qualifier if I stand correct. We are also on a 7 game win streak all is not perfect but everything is alright right on the south side if you ask me.
But you know it’s the Crosstown Cup. The ugly comes out of everyone so first off. Fuck the Cubs! Let’s get it out of the system that’s the standard issue insult on both sides. The Model 1861 Springfield Rifle of this Civil War.
But now let’s fight with logic. As we know we are in the age of social media and NBC Chicago has been flying the L with the Sox these past days. Do you blame them? No. The Cubs left WGN to start their own network and the Bears Hawks Sox and Bulls went to NBC Chicago. And The Chicago Fire went to WGN and Soldier Field but thats not the point right now Fire play 6:30 Tuesday night just saying. We are NBC NBC is us. Will NBC Chicago throw the Cubs a bone every once an a while yes, that’s nice of us. I don’t think the Marquee network is throwing any one besides the Cubs a bone. So if NBC Chicago wants to poke fun at the baby bears let it be. The Cubs fans in their stupidity are not getting that and in the process are gettin upset too. Their team is down 2 games in this classic I would be upset too.
Yeah it is go to the Marquee network if you have such a big problem with it. I like How he been sitting on that fact for probably half a year and just decided to pull it out of his ass like its nothing.
I had to fact check this walking MLB encyclopedia and know what he was wrong. Da Sox have only gone to the playoffs 9 time out of 119 seasons. Get your facts straight buddy if you are gonna be like a bird and chirp at us do it right.
And if we are gonna do this and go tit for tat Cubs have been around just as long and have made it to the playoffs 20 times and have less to show for it. They literally have double our playoff appearances and have the equal amount of World Series wins as us. So what’s that say on the cubs part? Know what it says... That the Cubs are a loser franchise/organization disguised as a top class franchise when they are not. An old stadium and day baseball is what makes them great. Sox fans know our team stinks. Yous went by the lovable LOSERS your nick name had the word loser in it for Christ sake. It took yous 108 years to win a world series it took us 88 years to Bring baseball back to Chicago hell we decided to not win a world series for fun. So yeah we suck and NBC Chicago is Sox biais but look in the mirror before throwing stones from your old glass house.
And NBC responded to Ben best but actually don't get them tomorrow Da Sox need the wins more.
