My Chicago Fire Story
Originally this was going to be my first story time post but I was able to crank the Juluis Peppers story out first. Right place right time. Plus this story ain't as great, but still a. story none the less. This is my first and only experience with MLS. Not a huge soccer guy, the usual play when your like 3 and in gym class are my only experiences.
Limited soccer experience and exposure but this is a Chicago Fire blog not a report on soccer career. lets set the mood summer maybe no more then 5. This blog is mainly about a lot of firsts. For example my first time at Soldier Field, was this soccer game. The new stadium wasn't even built yet.
and the first time I got it in the nuts. Remind you I'm like 5 so my legs aren't big enough to clear the space from one seat to another. I slip and land right between the legs. Certainly wont be my last time I get hit in the nuts.
Now the real significant part of the story. A ball was kicked out of bounce and went all the way in the stands and some how made its way up to me. I caught a sweat, wet disgusting soccer ball. The first foul ball I ever caught never caught one in baseball so amazing I caught one at a soccer game, match. But turns out when a ball goes into the stands in soccer you have to give it back so that was very sad. Or was it because a great guy in front of me never met the man probably will never meet him again nicely surprised me and my mother with a tiny replica soccer ball to make up for giving the game one back. Amazing people just doing good things for no reason, mind you this guy is just a fan like me not associated with the team, just a stand up good guy. I had that ball for the longest time this is not like my Bulls jersey I actually want this thing and have to find it, I think I know where it's at in the garage lets hope it is too. But that guy is great Chicago fire fans are great I hope when this whole virus is over I get the chance to go to a game since the Fire moved back to Soldier Field.

I also had my first chill and probably one of the last times I ever had it.
The first time I learned to climb over stadium chairs
decided to stick with the soccer theme, but couldn't find the specific gif of the situation I was in.
