super bowl post game

50 Years later the Chiefs are again on top of and the newest champs of the NFL 

So I'm 3-4 in picking super bowls I went 9/15 in "prop picks" and...

The game was a good one I guess, would of been better if the bears where in the game and won it all. But for the actual game play it was better then the last years super bowl, by a long shot.  This game story line was 49ers defense against chiefs offense and for a while there it seemed like the 49ers had stuck to the script and this one in the bag. Patrick Mahomes was throwing 2 picks and 2 more passes that could of been picked if a defender timed it right. He fumbled once and another fumble he recovered and took 4 sacks, not his best game.

But the chiefs needed the defense for one game and one game only to perform at their best and guess what they showed up exactly when needed. All of the post season game the chiefs where down 10 or more points in all post-season games this year and would come back in all of them. Last night they made Jimmy G cough up two picks and forced the 49ers to throw the ball as opposed to the ground and pound they have become a custom to all post season. He did have a throwing touch down to a fullback do. The one possible game changing play to G. Kittle that he threw for 42 was called back to do Offensive Pass interference could of changed the whole game.

Another situation that could of also changed the game was not calling a time out in the 2nd quarter  before the first half ended will haunt the 49ers.  If they call a time out there would of been a little under 2 minutes of play left and enough time to try and drive down the field for a field goal. they would of had two time outs and at least 1 minute and 30 seconds to try and get in range. You use the 2 min drill offense the 49ers had the potential to be up 3-14 points before the chiefs even touch the ball again and well they went the route of only being up 3 and that was not a big enough lead. Heck I think they should've just taken a shot down field instead of a knee to end the half.

Can't discredit the 49ers do when they where running the ball and had control of the ball they where making it happen with that end around play that they successfully ran 3 times through out the game.

One thing I noticed in this Super Bowl as opposed to other Super Bowl or games but was it me or did it seem that these two teams where getting a little into each others face more then usual. I don't know seem weird to me.

And a Super Bowl I guess is nothing with out the Half time show and commericals both where ok. I feel like I'm more of a true football fan then others where Im using half time or commercials to go to the bathroom, instead of waiting and wanting to watch them.

Half time show was a I guess 7.2/10[ The Bruno Mars half time show is still my favorite]
Favorite commercial was the Smaht Park or the NFL's intro commercial

But thats are 54th Super Bowl and 100th NFL season, I have nothing to do on Sunday's now till September.
