Bears Free agency

Out with the old in with the new. Gonna be a lot of different faces at Halas Hall this fall and I don’t know how I’m feeling to be honest. I’ll start with the guys who just joined the bears.

Robert Quinn, OLB [Signed a 5-year, $70 million contract]

Out of the three so far I'm okay with. Line backer is an unforgiving position butting you self in a car wreck every week, I get it not a horrible reason to sign him. The bears need some type of pressure off of Mack to make him deadly. When hicks went down and with all the other rushers not being as scary it was double Mack and that made him useless. The only way to stop Mack is for the other members of the defense to be a step down and or lower then him, if you're average on defense you wont be helping Mack. I'm not trying to rip on our Defense or anything injuries and lack of depth stops us from being deadly. So Robert Quinn you better stay healthy and take some pressure off of Mack. Im okay this signing because he  hates Rodgers as much as us. 

Jimmy Graham, TE [Signed a 2-year, $16 million]

I don't want no packer trash that rolling down I-94. We already have HA-HA well he came from DC so the trash smell was washed off but I miss Adrian Smash Amos, who was a little better.I see what where doing taking packers players to fuel the rivalry but not this guy. At this rate for get Wide Receivers trade all those guys away, we are just going to sent all TE out there and see what happens. I'm not sure where I seen it but, I'm 90% sure the Bears have the most TE on a roster right now. If we where gonna sign a 33 year old guy for 2 years at this amount of money we should of just went with Greg Olsen. I know I was iffy on him here but The Seahawks signed him for 1 year 7 mil, would of saved us a couple million bucks and we would of already had a fan favorite that people think should of never left. Bears better not say that Jimmy Graham was better due to age after this Contract Jimmy is going to be the same age as Greg Olsen now 35.

Nick Foles, QB[Bears sent a 4th-round pick to the Jags]

I know I covered a lot of this talk yesterday in this blog. But I still hate this choose. Do not want to repeat my self to much worked with Nagy, is a Superbowl champ, more competition rather then mentor blah blah blah read the other blog for a more in depth analyzation. But another reason why I do not like this deal is because he is the enemy that lead the eagles to our fall in the playoffs. I know Cody Parkey is the most hated guy on that unfaithful Sunday. But who put the Bears in that position  to have to kick the ball Nick Foles. So everyone happy about this trade you're happy about cheering for the guy who knocked out of the playoffs? Nope not me I'm a Mitch guy till they pull him out of Halas Hall he's getting us another ring.  I can see Foles being a quick fix window is closing but I still think Mitch is the QB of the future of the organization. 

Well time for the guys leaving, I would like to say thank you besides you Chase Daniels for everything yous done for this organization and I wish yous didn't have to leave. 

Nick Kwiatkoski ILB [Signed by the Raiders] 

I really liked Nick Kwiatkoski he was our grabowski. I get why we had to let him go he is a down hill run stopper who will be great against the chargers and broncos who are rebuilding. He is not the worlds greatest cover guy. I can see him being it but is not the Mike Singularity MLB who can read everything. I always liked him gonna be missing him of special teams too he does it all.  throw up two  on your way out. Thanks for stepping up when Danny T went down. 

Kevin Pierre-Louis ILB [Signed by the Redskins]

Only here for one year has one pick 27 tackles nothing to crazy thanks for trying to help us get to the promise good luck on your 5th team again not ripping on the dude

Nick Williams DT [Signed by the Lions]

Recorded all career sacks [6] on his time with the bears. He went off like Nick agaasint the Vikings good luck in Detroit even do they suck and are the Pats JV team. Hopefully you decided to destroy us next year. 

Chase Daniel QB [Signed with the Lions]

Not thankful for you, ok kinda you did cause alot of QB controversy when you did play good those couple of times. Wont for get when you stepped up week 4 like everyone else against the vikings when mitch went down early. Or the time you almost lead a comeback against the giants, or when when you lost to the raiders even do that doesn't count out of the country, or when you replaced mitch on sunday night football late in the 4th quater cuz of "injury" but the best memory you gave us was Thanksgiving 10 days 3 games. That thanksgiving game is probably the reason why you going to back up in Detroit. 

Leonard Floyd, OLB [Signed a 1-year deal with the Rams]

He's going Hollywood I like Leonard Floyd 8 packers games 7 sacks should have 8 do. He has that safety one time against the packers I like how he was long looked different out there I thought he could be one of the next great line backers but he was in that. He was a pace pick which looks good at first but slowly fizzles out sad to see you go too.
