What am I picking ?

 Time for some more prime summer talk. Ice Cream on a hot summer day is such a great feeling. Just one of the best summer loves that last and continues year in and year out instead of like our summer loves who leave us by the 4th........ I'm so lonely..... But anyways 


You've seen this sign a million times on the ice cream truck. Grant it I never had because you never get ice cream from an ice cream truck. Guy got no running water, works in a truck so already dirty werido. Not cleaning his hands or using hand sanitizer, in a truck scratching his sweaty balls picking his noise at ever light and handing you ice cream. So for sure the soft serve cone, or anything he is scooping is out. Have to stick to a prepackaged item. 

The real ice cream guys are the paletas man [hombre] El Paletero. With his little cart and those ringing bells. Now thats a real ice cream man. 




But I'm getting off track from the original assignment. It's what am I picking?   


well if it was pack in the day when I had slightly more money but was smart about it, I would be eliminating the premium items. As much as I like a chipwich now I didn't really have them back in the day. [ but chipwich is a go to both a cookie and ice cream to desserts in one]. Snickers is maybe one of the items I am looking at but I'll pass lemon chill is a sox game item so premium is out. 


Middle row not making alot of noise since mostly popsicle/ water based items. They good but not always a go to item. Snow Cone terrible chunk of ice. Push pop sticks, Bratz out since I'm not a 7 year old girl Sonic naw. Like Tweety and Spongebob but won't look like that and I'll end up dropping the gumball eyes before I can even chew them. Strong contenders but maybe final 5 item but not a one right now. 
Then everything on the left side of the pic is pretty much out. Bomb pop, rocket pop, or firecracker is good but not a great item.  I enjoy said water based items but there  not as good. If anything this middle row is a big maybe row if my top choices aren't there. They are the outsiders lookin in. 

we are left with the whole bottom row and the top left section. Break down the bottom row first 


If its this menu in particular quite frankly I'm not picking any of these besides possible 3. If it was a paleta cart and had these choices 
it would be a different story.

But since that is not the case I am for the most part ruling out  all the dollar menu items. I know crazy best bang for my buck and I am scraping them. Its controversial and unheard of, but this mad man is doing it. Like I said if it was the paletas that I grew up and know we be considering my flavor and walking away already.  But that not the case The two orange and purple on the right are out. Birthday cake sandwich out. Cookies and cream overrated. And that leaves Vanilla crunch in 3rd and a tie between Chocolate eclair.  and Strawberry shortcake.


heavy hitting section if you ask me, You got the Jumbo Ice cream sandwich which I very much like. The Drumstick and never before heard variations of the drumstick, the banana fudge pop and I'm a sucker for banana and chocolate. But since I never heard of the Banana Fudge or Big dipper aka drumstick  strawberry and chocolate they are out. The ice cream guy only comes around once so have to make you pick count. After weighing out all the options and what I am picking is number one are 


my top five would have to be 

5. Strawberry milk based paleta

4. Drumstick 

3. Ice Cream sandwich 

2. watermelon paletas 

1.  Chocolate eclair.  


Something abut it hard to explain maybe the mixture of textures hard and soft kinda chewy is what wins me over the chocolate flair helps obviously but that's what I am picking.

The work chronicles : PT5.5 still working with mind boggling people

Said it once said it a billion times. I’ve been here here to long and I’ve got to get out of here. Everyone has this in common a shitty  part time or shitty job and not making enough money.  Now I won’t really be making enough or more money. I went back to  school in January so making money but not really a lot since I’m working a lot of hours like I was in passed months. So only work my minimum of hours of 24. I planned on going back to 32-40 Hours a week to get my money not my funny up. But sales are down and store is dead. Times where it looks like where about to close or open how little or no body in there. It’s sad so if anybody needs my meat come to my meat department. But here’s where the mind boggling people come in I had 32 hours this week and the store manager like a coward decided to cut the hours and give us the schedule the day he’s off.
