Go to Sleep with The Blackhawks winning the 2010 Stanley cup

On 6/9/2010, everyone in Chicago's life's had changed. For many old timers it was the end of the Blackhawks 49 year old Stanley Cup Championship drought. For many youngsters like my self at the time it was witnessing a Championship team for the first time. We all remember tales of the 05 white sox but the 2010 Blackhawks was history in the making that we remember. For me I fell in love with the Blackhawks on January 1st, 2009 when the Blackhawks played a winter classic game against the red wings at Wriggle Field. But today marks a time where fans officially fell in love, during that playoff run they felt something but when Patrick Kane scored in OT it was like he said I do and we tied the knot with the franchise, that the city already knew so well, or would get to know Oh so more through out the 2010's.

Hockey officially came back to Chicago that night, a dynasty that would unfold with out us knowing would start sooner but officially fall into place that.  As Cheese as it sounds but as we know the Hawks of yesteryear are slowly fading but we are sure as hell happy that it happened. Remember the 2010 Blackhawks as you go to sleep tonight, we thank them for all they did for us and we Love them for that. On this 11th year anniversary.
