Bears v Packers [ week 17 recap]

And time for another issue of Monday Morning Quarterbacking. I'm Sad, I'm fat, angry, depressed and mostly frustrated. So much that I already broke my New Years resolution by eating 2 Ricobene's King size Breaded steak sandwiches in one sitting. 

Well we lost to the packers again come the f on. So we are 8-8 and by the skin of our teeth’s and with some luck from the Rams we are in the playoffs. This maybe the most upset and doubted I ever had in a bears team and game this season. Just so upsetting we needed a 5 game win streak and we come up short and got our asses saved by the rams what the hell ? we are the grabowskis and got a hand out from the smiths. We aren't supposed to take hand outs. Unlike other teams who need help doing simple plays 

not once but 2 this game alone Should be 2 flags on this play delay of game and 12 men on the field [refs]

And on this play it comes back to more anger  

 

Regardless of the situation we where in[of win and we are in the playoffs] No game against the Packers is easy. But I knew it was going to be a long-n-ruff game after this first play

Looked like he was out but was in with the ball my. God Heart attack @ 0:00 into the game. This play was a smart play, which the packers challenged and lost a timeout. Making it look all Bears but of course it was not. It was to easy nothing comes easy when you play the packers unless you are those cheese eaters up north. It's not even a break for the Bears, it's just dumb luck which some times you just have to take. But the Packers on the other hand have a horse shoe up their keister. For example this play 

Jaylon Johnson and Buster Skrine have to be back for this playoff game. Duke Shelly literally held his hand to the end zone. Defenses job is to make it harder for the offense not so hard when you take them by the hand and lead them there. 

 

That picture like I said comes back. I was busy yelling at the play clock to put 1-n-2 together but the worse play happens on a delay of game play. 

I know Danny T had to play in coverage since Roquan Smith is out with an Elbow Injury[ Speedy recovery] But I've been saying it all year Danny T sucks in coverage and it shoed in my most hated packer play. 

Whats the point of having Eddie Jackson or any saftey if we forget to put them Back when we play the packers . 

every Year every game they run that same GOD DAM play with just a different guy when are we going to learn to stop that? C'mon I want to know when do we figure out how to stop Aaron Rodgers Deadliest play of just running deep with their best guy. Double, Free safety any thing that play drives me friggin insane. Every one at Soldier Field knows it happening , the whole world knows it going to happen, Packers know it's coming apparently if you are in Navy Blue and Burnt Orange and on the Field you don't see it happening for the Billionth time. They've been running that same exact play for 10 years and we can't stop it? Jesus Christ ! yeah I brought him into this that's how much it bothers me, and it probably bothers him to.

Cole Kmet made a rookie mistake and Fumbled. Mitch had a Terrible Toss to Amos who should of never left the Bears but is now haunting us.  Another play that irked the hell out of me was this one  

Big boys what are yous doing I know yous got your head in the trenches but you have to know yous are down by a couple scores and need to get into the end zone and David Montgomery caught that at the 5 start pushing that pile and not watch him get tackled or jump in there to late fuck do yous not want to win?  

And I think the last couple of plays perfectly describe the Bears season just coming up short at the last secs. 

Fuck the Packers too they where playing or hitting a little dirty for my liking alot of cheap shots or late tackles if you ask me 

Lets end on a positive do Special teams the 3rd Phase of the game always coming up big. First play of the game 40 free yards. This punt coverage 

And a tale as old as time in Chicago is we either have trouble with a kicker, or we kick to much 3 field goals this week. Back in 2018 I'd kill for a game with 3 field goals. But now we have to turn those field goals in to touchdowns to stay competitive. So Thank you Cairo Santos for being perfect wish I didn't have to see you so much but you do your job when it needs to be done so we thank you.

Just so upsetting and angry and frustrated. I caught the negativity bug in this game and at the worse time possible. But regardless of how it happened we are in the Playoffs. More talk about that later on this week.
