1st season in Fantasy football: Recap

Unfortunately this fantasy season I will not be sporting any real hardware, no ring, no hat game, no nothing besides a completed season as a first year Fantasy GM/ Coach. I am taking away knowledge and experience to grow a winning culture for my team, if I so choose to return and did not fire my self in the off season. In my first year of fantasy I finished in 7th place [out of 10] with a 2-11 record. Makes no sense but I had 2 wins in the regular season 2 in the post season consolation [I make it happen in garbage time]

Hows the season start? it Starts with the draft it was the greatest assemblage of players on one team since the 85 Bears and Avengers.

I'm recapping talking about the highlights of the season. So best highlight has to be..

The First Win. Ever in Fantasy sports, not just the season EVER.

You're no longer a coach you just became a winning coach. Grant it I don't know if I am exactly winning since I was 1-5 when I won. But better then a 6 game losing streak like the Bears.

2nd win which was thanksgiving weekend win.

No video or anything because know what. I been there before so I have to act like it. A win is a win that's what I am supposed to do. Don't need a party for doing my job. Even do it took me 4 weeks to get another one. But know what it's always feels great to win especially on Thanksgiving makes the turkey taste just a tad bit better even do it is always good.

Garbage time: Back to Back wins.

2 wins in post season. I manage to win-win it doesn't matter. But I rather have a W by my name because guess what you don't. Plus in my time in the Lads League, I have come to learn it takes a while to get these wins and they are far in between at times so take them WIN ever you can.

Week 7

Surprisingly a Lost is on my recap. This week 7 lost was definitely my Favorite lost this season. So much  back and forth in the Seahawks v Cardinals game. Coming off the week 6 win hungry and just want to be feed again. Ended up getting edged out at the end but went toe to toe with the future champ and gave them a run for their money. Some times that is all you can do, be proud that it happened more then anything.

now let's look at the blunders

The week[4] I thought George kittle was still hurt and did not play him and he scored 40 points.

Grant it even if I played him I would of lost. I perfectly shown that losing by one hurts just as much as loosing by a 100. It doesn't matter a lost is a lost at the end of the day.

This was  was also the week I was still mad at kickers [ week 1 Greg Zuerlein missed a kick, plus always mad at Cody Parkey] and  I didn't play one, so no points there. Also that was the week where the Steelers had Covid unexpecatly and their bye week got moved up.  Making me lose points on TE since I played Eric Ebron, and no idea the whole team was out. Sometimes you lose the trap game, refocuses you from making rookie mistakes again, and gets your head on straight. So I learned how to manage games so they do not become loses by mistakes.

Taysom Hill Listed as TE but plays QB

This is upsetting because I was mere seconds away from collecting him of the wavier wire. But I wanted to fact check that it was an actull thing and I had a loaded roster all ready so trying to think who to cut. When you're a GM/ Coach you got to have that trigger finger ready to go, don't think just react. I was not able to get Hill, but it did not matter, beat my Opponent  103.88-74.94. So did not need him but would of have been nice. Could of tried to trade him or something.

Despite the 2-11 season it was not all that bad. I finished in 7th place some how.

made 24 wavier wire moves ACTIVE 150 not sure what that means but that was the most in the league by a lot.

no trades/ rejected 3 dumb trades

I didn't finish last in the league so that was the most important thing for me so I will say a successful season til next year if I so choose to run it back.
