Remember Baby bottle pops

Tapping into the nostalgia today. Do you remember baby bottle pops?

 Baby Bottle Pop, Baby Bottle Pop. You can lick it, shake it and dunk it.

This is the month of candy and candy is all the rage this time of year. Since you know just in case you've been asleep the past 15 days, But its October, halloween is in 16 days. I'm not even sure how this candy even popped in my mind while I was on the toilet but it did.  And that's why we are here. 

This sweet treat came out back in 1998. But Since I am a 2000 something kid. I will say this candy did not hit its stride and peak till mid 2000's. And Mid 2000's is probably one of the last times I actually had one. I Never knew watermelon was an option all these years and it's not like a late addition either watermelon and cherry are the OG's that started it all. I love watermelon candy so I for sure would of gone watermelon if I knew it existed and was at Walgreens/ in my halloween bag or Dominick's, right there before the check out. 

[Also holy cow Dominick's what another throw back not blog worthy entirely, since you know its a grocery store as a kid and you hated going.] 

 My fondest memory of Baby Bottle pop has to be when I took one to the Sox game, when I was maybe like 6 no older then 7. It get's expensive going to the baseball game even do we got free tickets all the time. But when you got Me and two snot nosed siblings [3] it get expensive having to buy three cotten candies or three cracker jacks 3 red ropes. So what do you do stop at the store say one candy and like an idiot I went small with a blue baby bottle pop. That's one of my only memories with Baby bottle pops. The only reason why I went baby bottle pop because of my other memory of the candy the commercials. 

You try and tell me the commercials did not work. Your watching Saturday morning cartoons in their dying years. The era of  "illegal" or the hey day of the looked down upon process of targeting kids with Toys/Kid things/kid places/ junk food commercials. 

I want you to tell me after you say one of these three commercials the jingle of 

 Baby Bottle Pop, Baby Bottle Pop. You can lick it, shake it and dunk it.

Was not stuck in your head the rest of the day and did not make you want to go out and beg your parents to let you get one. 

This one is peak 2000's Jonas Brothers hottest boy band since NYSNC singing that jingle 

This one even do I had to be a mature 9 year old to old for a baby bottle wanted to get one to log on line probably would not ask for permission cuz I was a bad boy like that. 

This one is defiantly latter cuz i remember watching this one on nickelodeon all the time  

Baby bottle pops man what a crazy candy a simple one of like a lollipop that you dip, lick shake in sugar. And do till there is no more. I can go on and talk about the push pop. made by the same company and where I'm pretty sure only sold exclusively at Fleetwood roller ring and had the rule that you must lick or suck till it was a sharp point. But this is a baby bottle pop blog. 

also I know I ignored the other baby bottle pops crunch and 2d max quite frankly I had no idea they existed. So sorry for anyone who came looking to read this blog about them and got left out.
