[week 1] Bear v Lions recap

WHAT UP MITCH HATERS? He showed up baby lets go. I don't care if it's only week one and a good  quarter he  proved he can make it happen when he's got to make it happen. 

And back to the basics and how Da Blog started. Back to Monday morning Quarterbacking as a blogger, aka recapping games.

You can't have shit in Detroit. For example wins you can't have leads or wins in Detroit or prochs .

My job yesterday  was to look at QB play, Line play and Defense to make sure they did not regress and look at the questions that the secondary where raising. 

lets start on the defensive side of the ball and break it down from there. 

@ndary questions they picked away at the rookie number 33 Jaylon Johnson dude had a ruff day got 

Demolished by a lion  was getting passed all over on. But Caused the one pick that was vital in winning the game. So 2ndary not that bad got a pick game up pick there at the end. Jaylon Johnson keeps at it he should be a great opposite of fuller by week 7. 

We only had One Sack from Hicks which was awesome we got the sack when we needed it. I think Not having Eddie Goldman is going to hurt us. Adrian Pertson was able to run all over us and it sucked especially when he managed to pass Walter Payton in all time leading rushing. So Maybe a Healthy Quinn can at least make pockets collapse in the passing game. 

lets go to the O-Line was decent a C+ or B- if I graded it. Was better in the run game that we actually he had. Cohen and  David Montgomery ran angry with there carries yesterday. I was a Little worried with Patterson getting touches but it actually worked he is a good speedy down hill runner, not a bad call Nagy. 

The C plus comes in the pass game. Pass protection was alright They give Mitch time but there was atleast 3 plays where pocket collapsed and he was forced to run around in the Back field for his life and one time he gave a huge sack up. But the few times it collapsed it allowed Mitch to run , Mitch on the move is deadly. 

Well get to Mitch play in a min. But this was a fingertip game for sure. So many passes and one INT was 

playable and just fell of the finger tips, very upsetting since if some one was able to bring that ball in it would of either been a turnover at the 3 yard line or set the Bears up for a touchdown or be in striking postion. 

Mitch was Money Mitch today. 

Come back Kid. Lets go Threw for 214 3 td and no picks. All the magic coming in the 4th. I don't care W is a W. He had a few over throws but happens I think 2 I can say one risky that could of been picked other one just way off. But like I said Fingertips hurt our game play alot too. He was passing to everyone Was Miller time, TD to Wims, Gave it to A one target Robinson.  This is defiantly  a monkey off the back game for him. Hopefully this is a confident booster game that makes him progress though out the season. 

Jimmy Graham I may have been upset about the signing, but I don't want to Jinx it, so He will not give any love since it was week one maybe lucky but I won't mind if Jimmy Graham is like a tumor and grows on me. 

Carlos Santos kicked and didn't miss. So thats that. But My God the lions dropped touched down in the 2nd to last play saved us I don't care how could he not drop that He did not and it saved us from a heart break lost.And refs sucked Cole Kmet got hit and no call "play was being broken up"  and a PA on Allen Robison too but hey it happens, give us the calls later on in the season when we need them.  

Yes I grip/grap my hat all the time while watching the game and that 2nd to last play made me almost loose my eye but I play through the pain.
