The Minivan

So I started that Show Community. Cuz there is nothing else going on in light lock down,  no school, no work, no nothing I noticed something small but familiar in one Episode in Season 1 E22 Shirley's minivan. There is a mini storyline/arc she's a divorcee with two kids and shares with her cheating ex husband that talks his new girlfriend to what I would assume to work at a strip club. She was riding the bus to school and the friend group told her she should fight for the car yedi yeda eda.

But the story line around the car did not catch my eye the actual car caught my eye.

There it is a Blue mini van that seemed very familiar to me almost liked I seen it before. O wait I have in another one of the shows I watch the Huang's family car in Fresh off the Boat. 

this van is seen many times through out the show since you know its a family sitcom and Minivans most reliable thing for a family of 5+. 

But seeing it community was not the first time I seen the Huang van in other shows/movies I seen it in Bridesmaid too.

Seeing this van in three different movies/ show got me really curious. What is up with it, so went to handy dandy google and googled Mini Van  from Fresh off the Boat and this car is a Grand Plymouth Voyager year model range from 87-95 ish I wanna say.  This Van is at Cotten eye joe level Where did you come from? Who drove you? Where did you come from Blue Mini Van. 

My possible theory about the car is that there are multiple of them some prop like no engine or ability for it to function and actual ones that run. Conan O'Brien can help back me up on this one. 

And you know Disney and Universal owns everything so why can't this car be in a  prop warehouse some where. 

Is your mind being blown more and more now that you know Hollywood's secrets are being shown. I am absolute fascinated by this van and its lure. Its noticeable in other things like

Malcolm In the Middle on several occasions

Or New Girl Season 4 episode 3 Julie Berkman's older sister

The office Season 9 episode 8 The Target 

I only want to give out a few examples of the Blue Minivan. Don't want to bombard this Blog with them and give all the possible sightings away. This has to be the same level like the Pizza Planet truck in Pixar. An easter egg hidden at random possible in your favorite tv show or random movie. 

Move over Batmobile, Mystery Machine, Mach 5, DeLorean ,Flintstone foot car. This 87 to 90 something Plymouth Grand Voyage blue minivan is now an official iconic movie/tv show car.
