White Sox 5k

So the White Sox emailed me yesterday, like they do everyone subscribed to their email list, Im nothing special. [ Are you sad faced like me too?]  They emailed me this ↓













5k runs are done by a lot of amateur runners/ health enthusiasts but if there was amateur to the amateur that would be me hands down no question about it. I have done 4, 5k runs in my life time The race against hate, Brookfield zoo fun run, My most proud one Chicago Bears 5k and SXU 5k. I walked the race against hate then had a 3 year race hiatus  before doing the zoo in 2017 Bears 18 and SXU 18 as well. I was looking forward to one particular race this year of. I was ready to go behind enemy lines done head to toe in my gear and Race to Poop Hole


Yes I was ready to wear full Helmet, Jersey pants and knee high socks and run on to Wrigley field get double bird, booed in enemy territory by my self. Id probably wipe out my South Side rally rag too, really get the crowd going. But with a lack of funds/ forgetting to pay earlier then later I was gonna have to miss out but Covid shut it down instead. SO did not miss out. Like I stated covid shut down alot of races so I didn't get to repeat longest bears touch down run in history again. 

Even do they did also email me saying hey virtual 5 k t shirt meddle sent in mail. 45 bucks. Thought about it but was like naw i'll pass even do the meddle was cool 


I am on a quest to do all Chicago sports team 5k but Bulls, Blackhawks don't do one and the Sox didn't do one till I guess now. So I thought man a virtual 5k seems kinda dumb. But I would like to check it out. SO I Super Fan Max will do this 5k. Like this upcoming baseball season this 5k will have an * by it.  Mostly because it is not at US cellular field aka Guaranteed rate but alos cuz I am doing the one mile. I am paying 40 bucks to walk a mile pretty much. 

I am not really doing this 5k for the Yeah I accomplished another 5k no real training just getting off my butt  waking up hoping the Cheese burger I ate for dinner was pooped out last night true story at a burger and polish the night before the Bears 5k. But I'm a Chicagoan/bears fans those are jus super foods. getting dressed quick little stretch most of the time no head phones and saying im gonna finish this 5k faster then my last time 

5k times 40:40 Zoo 
               34:50  Bears 
                38:47 SXU it rained that day give me a break the water added weight plus  I also tried ran 3 routes trying to catch a football did not catch it  too. 

But I am doing the 5k for the stuff.  A home run chain that I could of bought in december at the mall for 17 bucks now paying 4o, a change the game flag, bandana a virtual certificate. These are my 
"give aways" this year.   The best year of give away and they get canceled. Really wanted the Exploding score board, basketball jersey and Paul Konkero CAPTAIN america bobble head it would look cool next to my spider man one.  



Worse part of all this too is that I heard in the deep forums that the stuff never even had the chance to ship out of China because of Covid so there just 10,000 Tim Anderson bobble heads bobbling in China as we speak. That Knit hat wasn't gonna be sadly worn in the cold harsh Chicago months but was gonna be needed for October baseball. Sad Sad SAd day in White sox world all the t shirts Thursdays not being given away or the dollar dogs not being eaten. I better get some sleep now got rest up for my 40 dollar walk

The work chronicles : PT5.5 still working with mind boggling people

Said it once said it a billion times. I’ve been here here to long and I’ve got to get out of here. Everyone has this in common a shitty  part time or shitty job and not making enough money.  Now I won’t really be making enough or more money. I went back to  school in January so making money but not really a lot since I’m working a lot of hours like I was in passed months. So only work my minimum of hours of 24. I planned on going back to 32-40 Hours a week to get my money not my funny up. But sales are down and store is dead. Times where it looks like where about to close or open how little or no body in there. It’s sad so if anybody needs my meat come to my meat department. But here’s where the mind boggling people come in I had 32 hours this week and the store manager like a coward decided to cut the hours and give us the schedule the day he’s off.
