Its over

]As I take my aviators off, and remove my Bears hat I say this with great sadness and a heavy hearted. That Ditka's in the Gold Coast is closing forever. Let's take a moment and remember such a fine establishment. And All the kick ass steaks.


I ate at Ditka's  May 27th of 2018. Had the Kick ass paddle steak and Redskin mashed potatoes. as seen in the picture. Of course it was delicious Mike Ditka does not put his name on anything unless its the best.  But I should of complained about my steak and ask for the manger. And when some middle age women in a pants suit came out I would demand no the real manager. And Mike Ditka would come out and I would be in Awe for I would be in the presence of the Lord.

Ditka is closing due to to the Covid-19 economy and the short tenure left on the lease. Once again vegans, vegetarians, and Covid-19 ruin everything and remind me everything changes in life.
Life goes on I guess but not having Ditka's downtown and only in the Suburbs and Pittsburgh just does not seem right.  Do those people even appreciate him as much as we do? Answer probably not.

I no longer will be able to once again come to you live from Ditka's restaurant in the heart of Chicago  the city of big shoulders[ Line from the Superfans sketch] We went their after my high school graduation. such a cool place seeing all of his memorabilia, all the Chicago history pictures,  just a cool one time place I visited that will be a great memory.



 It's weird that Ditka's won't be there anymore. I hate to say it but is the Legend of Ditka dying too in the city as it changes for ever. Dam hipster ruining everything. Is the Lord of the city becoming more of a myth and unbelieved among the younger fans? I hope not.

Landslide keep the sad tones going. And reflect.

The work chronicles : PT5.5 still working with mind boggling people

Said it once said it a billion times. I’ve been here here to long and I’ve got to get out of here. Everyone has this in common a shitty  part time or shitty job and not making enough money.  Now I won’t really be making enough or more money. I went back to  school in January so making money but not really a lot since I’m working a lot of hours like I was in passed months. So only work my minimum of hours of 24. I planned on going back to 32-40 Hours a week to get my money not my funny up. But sales are down and store is dead. Times where it looks like where about to close or open how little or no body in there. It’s sad so if anybody needs my meat come to my meat department. But here’s where the mind boggling people come in I had 32 hours this week and the store manager like a coward decided to cut the hours and give us the schedule the day he’s off.
