The knicks

This is a very heavy Chicago related blog but I felt like I needed to blog what had been going on with the Knicks fans  the past couple days.  

 Knicks  have been bad the past couple years.  And When your bad everyone knows you don’t show up to games unless you’re a die hard. Like Spike Lee. 

Spike Lee has been using the employee entrance for 28+ years but all of a sudden the owner had a problem with it. It is also estimated in that time Spike lee has paid around 10 million dollars in total to attend and have the court side seats that he sits in all the time. 10 mil in total wasted for seats to watch that terrible team day in and day out. The knicks also lost their super fan for the rest of this season. for the “harrasment” that’s James Dolan has been doing to Spike Lee. A lot of he said he said on the harassment from both parties. It’s a shame when your 
Teams are built around stability and it’s a shame the most stable thing in Knicks recent years super fan doesn’t want to go to the last 9 home games of the season. You know your organization has to get better when this happens. Maybe it had some connection but the game after spike lee not going it was reported MSG lowest attend game in 13 years was 16,588 fans in a 112-104 loss against the JazZ 

Or was that the reason?

 

Bad play =  hard to fill one of the largest staduims in America Madison square garden. But what if the knicks aren’t bad? They’re just very health conscious according to their owner : 

When you have players saying it feels like 1 out of 6 seats are filled it has to stink. You play for the city the people the fans and must be disheartening that’s no one is there. Grant it your one of the  reasons why there not showing up. As a bulls fan We aren’t that much better in packing the house. But at least we are on the way up [hopefully] and I have a solution to fix our problem.
