XFL

I did not watch the XFL this weekend. Was busy, don't have a team to cheer for, and actually all honesty I'm not interested in it. I focus mainly on the Bears, [ heck my name is inspired by the SNL Bill Swerski's Superfan sketch]. from the min. that I see the Bears training camp coverage on the ABC 7 news that always on at my grandparents house  which is mid or late July August till super bowl[ or when the bears season so happens to end] is all football.   Only time Im interested in the Hawks and bulls is October when their season starts or when the bears are on a rough patch for a few weeks which wont happen this year. So February/March is use it to catch up on the story lines for the Bulls and Hawks and learn as much as possible about the White Sox to be ready for opening day.

Never watched one snap of the Alliance of American Football League, if we want to bring that up. I feel like football is a certain time of the year, and I don't know if I can or want to start following another team that is not in my city, or anywhere near me.  Leagues like to challenge the NFL but never had success besides the AFL which is now the AFC. The USFL, 2001 XFL, AAFL and a few others all failed. They can probably challenge it and maybe give the NFL a run for its money but I don't think it will make the NFL crumble to their knees.
If the XFL makes it to year two I defiantly be watching it then. So I'll watch some XFL highlights to see what the kick off and extra point hoopla is all about and see if the actual game play is alright.

A time and place for football and I don't think its in the spring.

Video's/ high lights on XFL: review

not a fan of the kick off in the XFL

punt kinda seems alright get more blockers so better for a return[ I do like returns] not a fan of when its a touch back at the 35 or better.

I do like the double pass do that can cause some excitement and can make its way into the NFL

no on side kicks I guess I know they where rear in the NFL but they say you can make a better come back with the extra points, but what if your down more then 9 points late in the game?

over time seems like and is hockey over time rules.

this is no league for defensive minded people like me, looks like it was created to appeal to people who love the action the home run the score the high flying ball.

Game Play

Marc Trestman 34 years of coaching geez those two years in Chicago I dont call those coaching so 32 years of Football coaching experience in NFL, CFL,XFL,NCAA

This New York/ NJ team seems pretty good actually don't know if its only cuz they played a Tampa Bay/ Marc Trestman lead team do?

Interview with Pat McAfee and Troy Aikman stats that alot of offensive players get the helmet with a head set so all can hear the play, since they need to speed up the play because only 25 seconds NFL is 40. I get it to speed up/ more action but that seems to much of a video game. Just spit out a bunch of plays in a hurry up offense and you'll score or get big games since the other teams defense can't set up.

They said Oakland Raiders home game in mid september will be one of the last football games with a baseball diamond March 29 and April 9 going to see it again

Not much to say I think this one was the best game that they had early on till Houston pulled away enjoyed this one.

If the tape is right New York and Houston may be the game to watch week 6

Another close start game then DC blew them out of the water in the 2nd half

DC defense living up to their name Defenders

over all thoughts on play QB play and tackling need to be better.
If these guys do make the NFL on day I would not be surprised if we see more 2 pts conversations in the NFL. since the only way to get an extra point in the XFL is going for it on two yards out. NFL 2 pt is from 2 yards out. So more guys more experience in that situation
