Chicago Bulls: Black History

This is the second Friday in black history month. and going into the all star break and weekend we will talk bulls. The Chicago Bulls where founded in 1966, in the middle of the civil rights era. Chicago I know there where/are some what rude racists types in the city. So there is no real 1st black player that broke the barrier. There was 3 on the first bulls roster they where Nate Bowman, McCoy McLemore, and Bob Boozer.  They would all play around 1-3 years on the Bulls. They lead the bulls to a  33-48 season, the best by any expansion team and good enough for the playoffs.

So Im not trying to cop out and end the blog early or say that the Bulls have no history with African American Players. Maybe One day Ill go back to this blog or at least do the history of the NBA and Chicago Bulls to make up for it.

But The bulls had arguable the best basketball player of all time Michel Jordan. Not best Black just best player of all time. So all star weekend and the  dunk contest Saturday. So Go check out the Free throw dunk
