I was going to do an inter conference/ out of division/ cross conference NFL rivals in the off season just to have a little NFL summer post. But Looks like I'll be realeasing one a little early [other one will be a list with a few points]. But Bears and Eagles Chicago and Philly are starting to become a little bit of some type of rival in my eyes the past couple of years. There where past incident like Buddy Ryan leaving the 85 bears and going to the Eagles, him driving around soldier field and honking the teams bus horns so Chicago know he did not sneak into town, the Fog Bowl that come right off the head and of course the infamous "double doink" game I still get shutters when I hear a doink watching any game. But that is an obvious reason why this can be the start a rivalry. The bears have been the lesser team the past couple of meetings hopefully that changes this Sunday November 3rd. Hopefully we can give them a nice big lose at there home field while they are looking for a playoff spot too.
Ok back to the rivalry or moments in recent history that bring about it. Philly has some pretty rude fans who I know will be just chanting Double doink the whole time during Sundays game every field kick attempt. [So please Eddy Piñeiro be dinero] but also had another incident in a game that will be explained now. My hatred for Philly started almost 2 years ago. Eagles beat the bears who at the time where 3-7[ after game 3-8], the eagles picked off a rookie Mitchell Trubiksy in the last couple minuted of the game and decided to the electric slide. Yes thats right they celebrated after a pick normal but not really when the score was 31-3 that day. Eagles fans held up the internet browser logo of FireFox john fox was the coach at the time, even do he was released at the end of the year he was rebuilding a defense that is very similar to today and was trying his best and I'll defend a bears coach till the day he holds his last press conference at Halas Hall, so I did not like that. I unfornatally do not remember the 2013 match up believe we lost on a Monday night so already don't like I probably was doing home work so couldn't watch. But that was on the field off the field...
Not a fan of Alshon Jeffery, I didnt even like him when he was on the Bears Brandon Marshall was my favorite bears receiver when the skill guys where Forte, Martelles Bennett, Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall. Alshon Jeffery was terrible would never catch the ball in crucial moments [me and philly can agree on that one saints game eagles fans saints game I don't even need a date yous know exactly which one I'm talking about. But not repeat super bowl offenders do] I would of gotten rid of Alshon Jeffery rather then Brandon Marshall first when they started welling and dealing those guys. Of course more of hatred for the bears at the time and now was trading Jordan Howard to Philly a couple months after the playoff lost that was like sending him to the packers in my eyes and was not is not and will not ever be a fan of that.
Bears Eagles for at least the next three years in my opinion are going to be teams meeting up in the playoffs trying to prevent each other from entering the playoffs and or simply will becoming across each others paths very often.
So Bears beat the eagles Sunday revenge game beat them so hard that the midnight green they wear turns black and blue. last few weeks been saying its an important game this week its not an important game what so ever its a must win game kiss the season good bye with a lost this Sunday. I'll be calm and believe in one game at at time if yous win on Sunday. So Bear Down polish sausage wild card also hey philly 2010 Stanley cup don't care if its off the grid iron and on the ice but we still got that.
